Eugene Kirk Lockwood. 58. Washington County sheriff's Sgt. Gil Gregg shot and killed Lockwood Oct. 31 after a 6-1/2-hour standoff at the Aloha Station Tavern on Southwest 185th Avenue in Aloha. Lockwood died at the scene from a single gunshot wound to the head after he pointed a handgun at Washington County sheriff's Sgt. Gil Gregg, who fired one shot from his .308-caliber rifle. The Washington County district attorney's office ruled that the shooting was justified. Lockwood and his wife co-owned the Aloha Station for 20 years.
